I really loved the convenience of being just a few steps from the Vialia Shopping Center and the stunning estuary views from my spacious room made my stay even more enjoyable.

The location was perfect for exploring the city with my adult children, especially enjoying the nearby Vialia Shopping Center. The staff was incredibly attentive, particularly David at the reception, who provided personalized service that made us feel right at home.

In my wife’s opinion, the sliding bathroom door needs improvement for privacy.

Great Stay with Some Temperature Woes

Our family enjoyed our 3-night stay. The views were breathtaking, and the kids loved the spacious room. However, we struggled with room temperature control, as it was uncomfortably warm at times. Don’t miss the local dining options nearby!

The pool and lounge area were great for relaxing after a busy day, although the bathroom felt a bit small. Just a heads-up, there's no kettle in the room, but you can make tea at the reception for a small fee. 😊

Couple getaway with a view

We got an upgrade for just 15€ and man was it worth it the view was incredible, overlooking an amazing part of the city. And the beds were so comfortable it felt like a cloud, I didn’t wanna get up every morning.

I was totally vibing with the tapas scene around the Occidental! In particular, the unforgettable eats at Tapas Areal (just 0.5 km away) had my taste buds dancing. The rooms were well-equipped for a restful night, and the location rocked, perfect for catching local flavor nearby.

Though I envisioned a cozy work corner in the lobby, it fell a bit flat with low tables and a crowded vibe. Plus, the gym felt cramped, and watch out for those wobbly wooden bars—they're a bit rough around the edges!
