Breakfast was great, but communication about heating was unclear, leading to a hot night.

The rooms were nicely furnished and brand-new, had shower facilities, a hairdryer and bath sheets. Everything was lovely, including a varied breakfast choice.
Well, the views were not so good here.

Not a bad but a little tired interior. Spacious bright room. Huge and comfortable bed. The presence of a steam iron. It's a clean enough room.
The location of the hotel leaves much to be desired, seemingly not far from the city center, but rather dubious station district. In front of the hotel windows is a giant construction site overlooking the bay, while the room overlooking the bay is more expensive, although it makes no sense. Waking up from the noise of the construction site is also such a rest. In the future, the view from the hotel will open to the station building, not the bay. Parking at the hotel was full, we had to park at the station parking lot. When I left the hotel, they wanted to take money from me for parking, which I have not once used.

Had a very good stay in February. The breakfast was rich and delicious with a view of the harbour, paying attention to little details...

room was spacious and I really liked the view of the river and location wasn't bad, despite the fact that the street was full of construction work, that's understandable.
The parking lot. The policy they have of not making reservations for the parking lot. The parking spaces are also very small, it is very difficult that in a hole they want to put two vehicles with shoehorn without taking into account that then the driver has to leave the car. My husband received a call from a certain Elena at reception, around 12 o'clock at night, when we were already resting and they made him get dressed again to go down to the car park to run the car around a bit because they wanted another client to be able to put his car in a space where there was only room for one car in good condition and with the threat that if he did not go down to the car park they would charge us for two places. My husband came down and moved the car as much as he could but even then the other customer couldn't park it despite the attempts to get the other customer to go and park it. I really find it very rude to get a client out of bed like that and not at all. I didn't like at all the treatment of that particular person at the reception. The rather old-fashioned bathroom. It needs to be renovated. I was traveling with my husband and asked that they could put the beds together, but they gave me two separate singles. The mini-bar wasn't working.

Very close to the train station. The room that has the sea view is really nice but ours is just ok. The beds are wide and really comfortable.
When someone knock at the next door, I always thought it was our room. It would be better if the hotel could improve the soundproof.

Staff were lovely and good location for shopping and exploring the old town.
The room was perfect, but felt quite dark as the window was small. It was a single room, and the rate was very good.

My return stay in Hotel Mexico was even better then my first visit a year ago. The adjacent high speed train station (Urzaiz) is now fully open and just a few minutes walk to trains that reach Santiago in under an hour. Staff are polite and helpful, and the breakfast offers a good choice. Value for money remains excellent; this will be my first choice of Hotel should I need to stay in Vigo again.
Guest WiFi drops out from time to time but Internet speed is good once connected.

Main competitive advantage of that hotel was its price. Good location. Extremely close to railway station Vigo Urzaiz (but be careful, most of trains arrives on other station: Vigo Guixar). Several coffees nearby. 15 miutes to walk to the city center.
Room was realy small, view was awful: on the inner cloister and big air-vent stack. Also it was a strange and upleasant smell from the bathroom. Wifi connection was weak.

It's a modern room, everything looks cute. Internet is stable, there's a minibar. Friendly, responsive staff at reception.
The hearing is terrible if you get neighbors who like to talk at night and walk in heels on the room. The view of the water is decorated with a large-scale construction site (the water view from the 4th floor was not blocked at the time of residence) and if you live in working days, with open windows you will get the noise from this construction from morning to evening. They put a used moldy bottle of gel in the shower, it was not replaced on the second day, I think it is not allowed for such a level of hotel. Well, my recommendation is to grease/adjust the doors by the closet, or it squeaks madly.

great views and convenient access to city landmarks
I really loved the convenience of being just a few steps from the Vialia Shopping Center and the fine estuary views from my spacious room made my stay more fun.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating! They gave very good recommendations for places to see and eat. Breakfast was quite good. It was close enough to the center of Vigo to be able to walk, but at the same time easy to get to by car. The room was quite big, newly renovated and the beds were good.
The outside noise level from the hall, other rooms and even a little from the outside. They should have used better doors that were more soundproof. Also, the garage is quite tight and the spaces are small, so if full, then it is a bit of a challenge.
